ASTERON is a monoblock system for RSC case erecting, product loading, case closing and flap sealing.

The product infeed, collation and loading modules are engineered according to the required production speed, available layout, product characteristics and specific application requirements.

The robust MACHINEX design ensures precise 90° case forming, reliable product control and safe product loading.

ASTERON can be configured as a top-load or side-load system, depending on the product infeed arrangement and the required product orientation inside the case.

The machine can use either adhesive tape or hot-melt adhesive for case sealing. Combined sealing configurations are also available, for example tape sealing on the bottom flaps and hot-melt sealing on the top flaps, or vice versa.

ASTERON can be manually adjusted to accommodate different case and product dimensions.

ASTER-25 case erectors are heavy-duty machines designed for reliable 24/7 operation.

The MACHINEX design provides consistent case forming and reliable performance, using dual-sided vacuum handling during the case erection process.

The vacuum handling system ensures reliable case opening and forming, even when flat cardboard blanks tend to stick together in the magazine.

A synchronized chain-guiding system moves the case through the bottom-flap folding and sealing section, ensuring that each case is formed accurately at 90° before leaving the machine.

Machine speed can be adjusted according to production requirements. Case dimensions outside the standard range can also be accommodated upon request.

Manual format changeover can be completed in approximately 10 minutes and requires no tools. Automatic format changeover is available as an option.

ATOMAX OPEN TRAY is a wrap-around case packing system designed for self-supporting products that can be palletized without a fully enclosed case.

The machine provides fully automated packaging in open-tray cases. Depending on the application, the same machine can be configured to handle both open-tray cases and fully closed cases.

The system automatically forms the case, prepares and groups the incoming products, loads them into the case, and folds and seals the required case flaps around the product group.

ATOMAX DUO is a high-speed indexing wrap-around case packer designed for fully automated secondary packaging. The system achieves a capacity of up to 20 cases per minute by loading two cases simultaneously.

The incoming product flow is divided between two preparation and loading positions. Two cases are loaded at the same time and then closed and sealed sequentially with hot-melt adhesive, providing an efficient solution for high-output packaging applications.

VORTEX is a family of tray-forming systems available in several configurations.

VORTEX is available as a medium-speed version with a capacity of up to 22 trays per minute and as a VORTEX HIGH-SPEED version with a capacity of up to 40 trays per minute for high-output production lines.

In the VORTEX HIGH-SPEED version, all main movements are servo-driven and coordinated by the motion-control system.

VORTEX tray formers are designed for demanding 24/7 production environments in the dairy industry and other industrial applications.

VORTEX can also be supplied with an integrated loading module. This configuration is presented separately as the COMBYPACK system.

VORTEX is an indexing-motion system in which cardboard blanks are fed and formed into trays through several synchronized forming stations. The complete process is automated and controlled by the PLC and sensor system. Depending on the machine version, movements are driven by electric motors or servo drives.

The forming process ensures accurately positioned trays with precise 90° geometry.

VORTEX machines can be adjusted for different tray dimensions. Format changeover time is up to 20 minutes.

The loading module is equipped with a robotic pick-and-place system that picks a complete collated group of incoming cups and transfers it into the prepared tray. The end-of-arm tooling is designed according to the specific characteristics of the product and can use vacuum suction cups or mechanical grippers for safe and reliable handling.

• Separate modules – tray forming and loading are performed by two individual modules connected by an appropriate conveyor.
• Compact version – the tray former and loading module are integrated into a single machine housing.
• Integrated version – the COMBYPACK system is integrated directly with the primary packaging machine. In this configuration, the pick-and-place module picks the cups directly from the nests at the filling machine discharge and places them into the formed tray.

COMBYPACK is available in single-format or multi-format configurations. The multi-format version uses exchangeable format tooling to accommodate different product and tray sizes.

Format changeover can be implemented on either one or both modules. The combined servo-pneumatic version provides an optimized solution with a capacity of up to 22 trays per minute, depending on the required cup loading pattern.

A high-speed full-servo version is also available, with a capacity of up to 40 trays per minute. All main motion functions are servo-driven for precise and reliable operation.

SLEEVEE is an automatic wrap-around sleeve packaging system designed for:

• Display packaging applications in the dairy, canned-food and confectionery industries

SLEEVEE is a continuous-motion system that can operate as a standalone machine or be integrated into a production line with primary packaging equipment and secondary packaging systems.

MACHINEX can provide complete cardboard packaging and palletizing lines for a wide range of products. SLEEVEE provides reliable operation and safe, controlled product handling, with a capacity of up to 120 sleeves per minute. Hot-melt adhesive is used for secure sleeve sealing.

The single-format version allows adjustment for minor future changes in primary packaging dimensions, such as different can, jar or bottle heights.

The multi-format version allows format selection via the touch panel, with tool-free mechanical adjustments. A trained operator can complete a format changeover within approximately 10–20 minutes.

NEXIS is a side-load case packing system available in two configurations:

• Medium-speed version – indexing-motion system with a capacity of up to 50 cases per minute. It can be configured for single or double loading and can handle either individual products or grouped products.
• High-speed version – continuous-motion system designed for individual products or grouped products, with a capacity of up to 150 cases per minute.

All NEXIS configurations feature a simple and accessible design that facilitates operation, cleaning and maintenance throughout the machine's service life.

NEXIS can be adjusted to accommodate different case and product dimensions.
