Precision Tray Forming at 22 Trays per Minute

Mlekara Kruna automated tray forming with a Machinex tray former designed for accurate, repeatable and material-efficient packaging. The machine produces up to 22 trays per minute while improving tray geometry, structural stability and cardboard usage.

THE CHALLENGE

Before the Machinex solution, three operators were required for tray forming. Mlekara Kruna also needed a more repeatable process with lower cardboard consumption, improved tray geometry and stronger, more stable finished trays.

THE SOLUTION

Machinex supplied an automated tray former capable of producing up to 22 trays per minute. Machine-controlled forming provides consistent geometry and structural quality, while the optimized tray design reduces cardboard consumption and improves overall packaging stability.

Precision forming with better material efficiency

The Mlekara Kruna project focuses on the quality of the tray itself. Automated forming creates accurate, repeatable geometry while an optimized cardboard design reduces material usage. The result is a stronger and more consistent tray that is better suited for reliable industrial handling and production.

Before Machinex

  • 3 operators required for tray forming
  • Manual tray forming process
  • Higher cardboard consumption
  • Greater variation in tray geometry
  • Less consistent structural quality

With Machinex Tray Former

  • 1 operator required for the machine
  • Automatic tray forming at 22 trays per minute
  • Reduced cardboard usage through optimized tray design
  • More precise and repeatable tray geometry
  • Stronger and more stable trays in two-shift production
